Fairmount Park Conservancy believes in the power of open spaces and the importance of nature to urban communities. At the heart of its mission, Fairmount Park Conservancy aims to bring parks to life. As a steward, the organization deploys programs to nurture our shared environment, cultural resources, and public health. Knowing that parks unite communities and welcome people of different backgrounds, Fairmount Park Conservancy has a hand in many projects throughout the city, including relighting Boathouse Row, creating park trails, and rebuilding parks.
One initiative, in particular, stands out to Enviri. Supporting over 60 urban agriculture projects, Farm Philly seeks to uplift the importance of urban agriculture through orchards, vegetable and fruit production, youth education gardens, inter-generational gardens, community gardens, and market farms. We are pleased to support this initiative which aids the gardeners, farmers, and residents who nourish and heal their communities.
