“Think clearly and write with clarity.” This is the strong mission of Mighty Writers, an organization founded in 2009 that teaches more than 3,500 kids in Philadelphia. From homework help to one-on-one mentorship, the organization makes a difference in the city’s literacy crisis.
To further support the community's needs, Mighty Writers expanded its services in 2020 to include the distribution of diapers, feminine products, groceries, and other essential needs. Across six locations in the Greater Philadelphia region, Mighty Writers has leaned into the expanded services it provides.
Enviri was inspired to learn that the organization's diaper bank has provided the community with three million diapers and five million feminine products. For this reason, our partnership with Mighty Writers will intentionally support the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank.
